2 Little birdies.....

Hello!
Here I am with my 2nd card for the Stamp N craft DT.
The stamp set I chose to use from Chocolate Baroque is "Live out Loud"

I stamped the birds in black ink, and then coloured with distress inks. I used tumbled glass, broken china and faded jeans. I stamped the word Cherish in the tumbled glass, and added every moment over the top of it in black.
Hopefully you can see in this next pic a bit more of the detail:
I added diamond stickles to the birds wings, and embossed the moon (or sun depending on your colour scheme) with a shimmer embossing powder.
I then mat and layered the image on to a couple of different card stocks and added it to the base card.
All of the supplies apart from the word stamps are available from Beth at Stamp N Craft.
Thanks for looking

My 1st DT card!

Well, as the title suggests this is my 1st DT card for StampNcraft.
The lovely Beth, the owner of the shop challenged us all to use a Chocolate Baroque set of stamps, Harlequin Christmas. I can wait to see what the other ladies have come up with.
Hop on over to the SnC blog to have a look.
Im really excited about being in this DT, as we are all friends in real life, and meet up at least once a month to have good old chat and crafting session, as well as eating a lot aswell!
Any way on to my card:

Sorry about the naff pics, the light is terrible today! This isnt my usual type of card, but im pleased with how it turned out! I used distress inks to colour the image, and then just high lighted details with white embossing powder and stickles, hope you can see the details in the closer pic? There is glitter on the leaves of the tree up in the right hand corner.
Thanks for looking, and I hope you like my 1st effort!

PB xmas....again....

Heres another PB card I made this evening. I felt a bit sad making this, as we lost our beautiful cat Noddy last wek, he was hit by a car. Half the time when I craft I ended up fighting him for the chair, and I would end up perched right on the edge, while he was nice and comfy at the back purring away. I will really miss my little crafting friend :(
I would like to enter this in to the following challenges:

Passion for Promarkers: for a male/youth
Papertake: Anything goes
PennyBlack:Sketch.

Here is a pic of Noddy, he really was the loviest boy....
